Designed for leaders or groups wanting a simple, adaptable operating system that works in on-the-spot contexts, meetings, and planning. Sessions take place over two Tuesdays from 10:30 - noon (eastern US) with time between meetings to put theory into practice in your own context.

Note: Pathway Conversation Framework Course is the prerequisite for this advanced practice course.

Program

Session 1 (90 min)

  • Why do groups need an operating system for their everyday work?

  • What opportunities can operating systems address?

  • Why is a good operating system more important than an exceptional top-down leader?

  • What is the power of context and how do we adapt the Framework to different use contexts?

Intermission

  • Between Session 1 and 2, there are 2 weeks of experimenting with the Framework in operating system contexts

Session 2 (90 min)

  • What challenges and issues can arise and how does the Framework address these?

  • How do we establish reporting metrics for the Framework operating system?

  • How do leaders support the Framework as an operating system?

  • How do we optimize the engagement of everyone moving forward together?

Results

Participants take away:

  • The ability to use the Framework in any everyday group work context

  • Clear approaches to adapt the Framework to a variety of group opportunities

  • Understanding the work of leaders in supporting operating system implementation
